Dortmund and Real Madrid just played a very entertaining Champions League match, in case you’ve spent today under a rock. And with the game time dwindling and Real Madrid up 2-1, Dortmund were looking for an extra bit of magic, something that could get them through Madrid’s defensive ranks and level the game up.
They were looking for Christian Pulisic.
Wonderful work from Pulisic to set up Schurrle's unstoppable equalizer for Dortmund. #UCLonFOX https://t.co/JYkieVRcAS

Alright, so they were also looking for Mark Clattenburg to not call a foul on Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang for a high boot, a kind deflection, and an unstoppable rocket from Andre Schurrle to actually seal the point, but that is another example of Pulisic stepping into the lineup and making a difference for Dortmund yet again. This one came against the Champions League holders, of all teams, and Dortmund sit at the top of the group because of it.
We...we might’ve gotten a little bit carried away...

Pulisic is better than Bale
Christian Pulisic immaculately forces Modric to play a pass backwards

BUT! It’s safe to say Christian Pulisic is no longer riding a train built on hype. The kid is for real, and has the skills to prove it, even against the best players in the world.
