It's that magical time of the year again where every fan cries out in rage because his/her favorite player on his/her favorite team is scored 1 point less on FIFA than that other guy who is clearly worse and doesn't even deserve to have a gold rating.
So let's see how they got it wrong this year:
Marco Reus - 88
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 86
Sokratis Papastathopoulos - 84
Mario Götze - 84
Shinji Kagawa - 83
Gonzalo Castro - 82
Lukasz Piszczek - 82
Sven Bender - 82
Roman Bürki - 81
André Schürrle - 81
Marc Bartra - 81
Nuri Sahin - 80
Marcel Schmelzer - 80
Sebastian Rode - 80
Julian Weigl - 79
Roman Weidenfeller - 78
Adrian Ramos - 78
Neven Subotic - 78
Matthias Ginter - 77
Ousmane Dembélé - 77
Erik Durm - 76
Raphael Guerreiro - 76
Mikel Merino - 76
Park Joo Ho - 75
Christian Pulisic - 69
Felix Passlack - 67
Emre Mor - 64
Joseph-Claude Gyau - 64
Denisz Burnic - 57
David Sauerland - 56
Patrick Fritsch - 55
Thoughts:
- As expected Marco Reus has the highest rating, he is after all the cover-star of the game.
- How the hell is Julian Weigl behind Nuri Sahin on this ranking? Have the EA people not seen last season?
- Guerreiro - 76, Merino -76.....I don't even
- Surprisingly low ratings for our teenagers Pulisic, Passlack and Mor while Dembélé and Merino have very high ratings. At this point in the season, Pulisic and Passlack have already "outplayed" their ranking while it is difficult to see Merino ever getting playing time.
- World-beater Park Joo Ho gets screwed by EA here, he is clearly a 93 at worst! That's exactly why you get voted worst company in America every year EA. Shame on you.
