Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the Gabon National Team have already qualified for the 2017 African Cup of Nations as the host.
But Les Pantheres are still participating in qualifying matches, like Friday’s showdown against Sudan.
The Sudanese hosts got the scoring started as Hamid Nizar notched his first career international goal to put The Falcons ahead.
Less than ten minutes later, Aubameyang put Gabon back on the level terms, besting two defenders and the keeper in an astounding solo effort.
Eight minutes after tying the match, Gabon pulled in front for good. Bruno Ecuele Manga headed home a goal off an in-swinging corner to give his team the lead.
Aubameyang and Gabon take the field again on Tuesday as they travel to face Cameroon in the capital city of Yaounde. Tuesday’s match will simply be an international friendly for Gabon.
