Borussia Dortmund have announced they made a whopping 376.3 million Euros in revenue this past year. That is an incredible 36.6% increase over last years earnings. The most amazing part about this is, that we did it without Champions League money. Our profits rose from 5.5 million to 29.4 million Euros, which again is crazy! It should also be noted that the Mkhitaryan transfer fee is not included in the financials, as the fiscal year ends on June 30th.
After being in financial ruin just a decade ago, the club has made an amazing rebound. From the Klopp era to the new Tuchel era things have only gotten better. BVB is on a new track to be one of Europe’s elite teams. With financial instability defeating some of the older big teams in Europe (the Milan sides for example), achieving record profits, will drive BVB forward into the top echelon of teams in world football.
