After much speculation about if he would leave this summer, it seems Jakub Blaszczykowski is on his way out of BVB again. This time it seems it will be for good. Kicker reports that Kuba is moving to Vfl Wolfsburg for 5 million euros and that he won't report to BVB camp this Monday.
Since moving to BVB in 2007 Kuba has been a centerpiece to all that made BVB great. His growth as a player is part of what made the Klopp era so great. He scored a total of 32 league goals while with BVB in 252 appearances. He was part of both our recent championship winning teams and part of the team that made it to the CL final in 2013.
After a good Euros outing, Kuba will be sure to get a decent chance at getting good playing time at Wolfsburg. Kuba has always been a good leader and will provide that with the Wolves young team this season.
A man who came back from a terrible tragedy to become an class footballer is a great story. While his time at BVB is now over, there is story more chapters to be written in his fine career.
