EA Sports have just announced on Snapchat that Marco Reus will be on the cover of FIFA 17. Reus won a four-way vote that also included James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, and Eden Hazard.
Good choice by the voters if you ask us. Here's the new cover in all its glory.

The FIFA games may not be for everyone, and last year may not have been Reus' best season ever, but we shouldn't complain. Having a Dortmund player on the front of one of the most popular games in the world can't be anything but a good thing.
Plus this is the type of thing that kids grow up dreaming about. I'm happy for Marco, and I'm definitely excited to play as him in the game.
Let's just hope there's no FIFA cover-curse out there that we don't know about.
The game comes out on September 27th in North America, and on September 29th in the rest of the world.
