Looks like ex-BVB player Mario Gotze is destined to leave Munich this summer as rumors suggest he is trying to force his way out. The possible landing spots are England's Tottenham Hotspur........and his old home of BVB.
While there is more evidence connecting him with Spurs, it's still up in the air as to which team he will join if either. Many BVB fans still feel scorned by Gotze after his exit to BVB in the wake of our UCL final defeat to the evil empire in 2013. While taking back Gotze would be a tough pill to swallow, he still has a lot of potential to be a quality player at BVB. The biggest advantage Spurs have over BVB in negotiations (other then fan hate) is playing time. Gotze would probably be guaranteed a starting 11 position with Spurs, while BVB he'd have to fight with Castro and Kagawa for a spot in the forward midfield.
While we may all have differing opinions on the lad, it will be annoying when (if we get him) BVB fans give him the Hummels treatment on opening day.
