21 year old Borussia Dortmund center-back Marian Sarr has left BVB on a free transfer to Vfl Wolfsburg, the club announced this morning.
Sarr, who played for BVB II was one of our more exciting prospects in years past, but hasn't been favored in the squad since Klopp and David Wagner left. He also dealt with hip problems that kept him out of the team for most of the year.
Most BVB fans will remeber his game against Olympique Marseille in the UEFA Champions League in 2013. Klopp was very impressed with the youngsters performance against a strong Marseille side.
Unfortunately he never was able to break through the pecking order in the BVB first team. The loss is unfortunate as BVB is in the market for center-backs at the moment.
Good luck at VfL Wolfsburg Marian Sarr.
