It's scoreless between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the 2016 DFB Pokal Final, but it wasn't a first half without incident.
Bayern Munich held much of the possession, and probably had the better chances, but they were also lucky to finish the half with 11 men on the pitch due to an incident just a few minutes before half.
Franck Ribery appeared to make contact with Gonzalo Castro's face after a scuffle that also involved Julian Weigl. The image below is pretty damning. Tottenham's Mousa Dembele was suspended for six games for basically doing the exact same thing to Chelsea's Diego Costa. Ribery got off with a yellow card, but that clearly should have been red.
Is this not a red card for Ribery???? #fcbbvb pic.twitter.com/M85LDSTkbx

Dortmund grew into the game as the first half went on and alleviated some of Bayern's dominance in possession. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus each found space on counter attacks, something which will worry Pep Guardiola going into the second half.
There are just 45 minutes left to go in this one and thus in BVB's season, but this game could certainly be destined for extra time or more. Heja BVB!!
