BVB plays Hertha in Berlin this week in the Pokal Semi Final. This game is now very important to the players and fans as it's the last chance for BVB to grab silverware in one of the club's best seasons to date.
Let's just hope BVB play like they did against Hamburg and not how they did against Liverpool.
In Dortmund's last game against Hertha, the two teams ended in a 0-0 draw. Hertha played five men back and tried to play BVB on the counter or settle for the tie.
Hertha has had an amazing season this year, currently sitting fourth in the table. However they have been on a slide recently, losing to Hoffenheim, and tying bottom of the table Hannover. They also got blown out by Monchengladbach 5-0, a task which BVB can hopefully match tomorrow.
Hertha's biggest threat is Salomon Kalou, a pacy forward who thrives on the counter. With Hertha almost definitely playing as many men back as they can this game, Kalou is going to be their best chance to get the upset on a counter.
Center back John Anthony Brooks also factors in here as Kalou thrives off his ability to make long clearances right into the counter. Vedad Ibisevic is another dangerous forward who, while not as fast as Kalou, has lots of technical ability that could trouble BVB center backs Mats Hummels and Sokratis.
As for our boys, here's BVB's expected lineup tomorrow:

Seems like if everything goes as planned, BVB's normal lineup should be as planned. The only hiccup at the moment is that Aubameyang did not practice with the team today, leaving doubts he will be fit tomorrow.
Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel said Aubameyang would be good for the game so maybe this was just precautionary. If not, Ramos will most likely start as the striker. Gundogan also may get the start again with Reus and Mkhitaryan sitting out. BVB has enough playmaking and offensive ability to cover up for a missing Aubameyang.
Not much more to say about this fixture that hasn't been said before. BVB is coming off a good win and Hertha is in the middle of a slide. Hopefully, Dortmund can make up for its Europa failure with a trip the Pokal final.
