The past is the past

To gauge our feelings on the match look below

BVB beat Hamburg 3-0 at home to grab an important 3 points in the Bundesliga standings. The goalscorers were Christian Pulisic (38') and Adrian Ramos(44', 86'). Also HSV Goalkeeper Adler grabbed a red card to make the task for the away side all the more difficult.

The big news of the day is 17 year old Christian Pulisic scoring his first goal for the first team. Pulisic has featured well recently and it seemed like only a matter of time before he grabbed his first BVB goal. After Thursday's disaster, its nice that BVB fans now get to be super excited about something.  He had a very good game otherwise as well, playing the full 90 minutes.

Ramos scored the second goal, and it was a shot off his foot rather then one of his famous headers. After he cut into the box he blasted one past Adler for the safety goal.

He scored the the third goal as well, getting his first brace since Febuary 2014, also vs. Hamburg. Ramos faced a lot of criticism after Thursday's loss, but he's showed this game he still has a lot left to give for BVB.

Other then the goals, there wasn't a lot to discuss on BVB's end tonight. The defense looked a little shaky at times, especially early, but BVB managed to keep the clean sheet.

Felix Passlack, another BVB starlet, got the start today and also played the full 90. While not as prominent as Pulsic, he still has a lot of untapped potential. Even though Thomas Tuchel has lauded him this year, Passlack still hasn't featured for the German National Team at any level, which for a BVB super kid is odd. It's probably why TT made sure to give him 90 on the first team today, to show Joachim Low and company that this kid is here, and he's good.

HSV didn't show much today other then the red card from Adler. HSV also doesn't have much left to play for this year except to stave off relegation once again. However that red card will hurt them as their next opponents are Werder Bremen, their main rivals.

Good job today BVB!!!
