Aubameyang scores a stunner at White Hart Lane

Who else was going to open the scoring?

Tottenham started the game on the front foot, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made sure that their joy was short lived. The Gabon international scored his 34th goal in all competitions when he smashed a stunning shot from range past Hugo Lloris.

The goal gave BVB a 1-0 lead in the match and a commanding 4-0 lead on aggregate.

Lloris had no chance as Auba's shot was hit with incredible pace into the side netting. The goal gives Dortmund an away goal and probably ends any thoughts of a Tottenham comeback on the evening.

Pierre-Emerick looks dangerous at the beginning of this game and may very well find himself on the score-sheet again, but what a way for BVB to solidify their place in the Europa League quarterfinals.
