In the crown jewel of Europa League match-ups, Borussia Dortmund annihilated an underwhelming Spurs team. It wasn't Spurs strongest side, but one would expect much more from a team that has been transformed under Pochettino this season. Almost every Dortmund player was on the top of their game today, but here's our player ratings anyways.

Weidenfeller 6: Our back-up goalkeeper had little to do today. It's hard to give a goalkeeper a rating when his team was just that dominant.

Piszczek 7: Strong performance from Lukasz once again, shutting down any Spurs attack.

Bender 7: Nearly conceded a penalty and came off injured, which is a shame as he was performing extremely well in the absence of Sokratis. First choice center back for sure.

Hummels 8: Mats loves getting forward, and on multiple occasions he built play up from the back with nice passes forward. Everyday stuff for our captain.

Schmelzer 8: Inch perfect cross to find Aubameyang for the opener.

Weigl 9: Bossed around the midfield today, played out of his mind and was the link from defense to attack in Gundogan's absence. Man of the match for me.

Durm 7: Found himself at the end of many good goalscoring chances, but couldn't put any away. Still, a very good game from Durm who finds himself on the right wing quite often now, a player transformed under Thomas Tuchel. Gets a higher rating if he had finished one of his good chances.

Mkhitaryan 7: Not the star on the evening for Dortmund but a good performance, had a chance to find the fourth goal but it never came.

Castro 8: A very nice assist for the third goal on the night, did a good job in place of Gundogan. Hard to understand why he hasn't been playing much lately.

Reus 9: Been out of form recently, but didn't show it tonight. He had two very nice finishes that should be able to boost his confidence.

Aubameyang 7: Scored a perfectly placed header, but also missed a couple of chances he should really score. It was good for him to get back on the scoresheet, but he could've scored two or three tonight.

SUBS:

Subotic 7: Came on in the 58th minute to replace Bender, and immediately assisted Reus' first goal. Super sub by Tuchel.

Kagawa and Ramos both came on too late to receive a rating.
