Following a disappointing transfer window in which Dortmund lost the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Jonas Hofmann, Pulisic will likely be getting more first team caps if his play improves.
United States coach Jurgen Klinsmann is also keen to give Pulisic an international call-up. The starlet holds a Croatian and an American passport, and Klinsmann, according to Bild, "will look to secure his international future."
Pulisic was not the only youngster named to the Europa roster. 20-year-old Slovenian defender Jon Gorenc Stankovic was also given a spot in the first team.
Dotmund will face FC Porto later this month in the Round of 32.
