Dortmund will be operating with a 4-2-3-1 formation with Roman Burki in net.
There are three changes from the side that faced Porto last week at Signal Iduna Park. Ilkay Gundogan will slide into the midfield today replacing Nuri Sahin. Matthias Ginter will replace Lukasz Piszczek who suffered a muscle strain in the final training session before the match. Sven Bender will also make an appearance, replacing Sokratis who suffered a groin injury over the weekend.
On the bench for Dortmund this afternoon will be Adrian Ramos, Moritz Leitner, Erik Durm, Gonzalo Castro, Nuri Sahin, Neven Subotic, and Roman Weidenfeller.
Subotic could be used as a second half substitute for Bender to reinforce the BVB back line while Durm could slide in at striker if Dortmund need to provide a more offensive look.
On the other side, Porto will counter with a lineup that will look much different than last week. The formation will remain the same at 4-3-3.
