Reports by Bild are claiming that Ilkay Gundogan will be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The German midfielder has been unable to agree on a new contract and has been considering a move away from Signal Iduna Park. There are a few top clubs that are interested in his services, but where he will end up is still up in the air.
Gundogan has been in talks with Barcelona for a couple years, and looked to have reignited those talks for a possible summer move. However, Barcelona appear to have lost out to another big money club in Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is interested in bringing a few big names into the Etihad Stadium during the summer. Gundogan has been talked about fervently since Guardiola was appointed City manager for next season, and it is likely that the Germany international could be one of the first summer signings for City.
Gundogan still has another season left on his contract with Dortmund meaning that the bid from City will likely be hefty. Dortmund have expressed the desire to keep Gundogan, but have begun to prepare for life after the central midfielder.
Following the signing of Mikel Merino from Osasuna, Dortmund are now looking to procure another young starlet in Borussia Monchengladbach's Mahmoud Dahoud.
