Possible Summer Signings
Oliver Torres - Atletico Madrid
There were multiple links between Torres and Dortmund discussed during the January window, but the deal was never made, even though it was reportedly a done deal.
However, Torres might be an instrumental player at Dortmund. Known for his attacking prowess in the midfield, the Spaniard could also play at the wings, providing pivotal distribution for BVB's explosive forwards.
Andrija Zivkovic - Partizan
Linked with Dortmund earlier in the window, Zivkovic, known as the "Serbian Falcao" is a skilled youngster who might turn out to be one of the world's most dangerous midfielders. He is strong and fast on the right wing and is known to be a goal scorer. Zivkovic can also provide assists, making his addition to an already potent Dortmund offense a welcome one.
Havard Nordtveit - Borussia Monchengladbach
With rumors about Dortmund losing key elements from their backline over the summer, the transfer discussions of Havard Nordtveit become more intense. The Norwegian can play both holding midfield and central defense, and has an attacking mind from a defensive posture. A talented two-way player, Nordtveit could likely replace Neven Subotic at the back and would be a favorable addition for Dortmund.
Hatem Ben Arfa - OGC Nice
Popping up in the final days of the January window, Dortmund's links to Hatem Ben Arfa progressed rapidly and looked like a more possible summer deal. While Ben Arfa remained in France after the window expired, a summer move has not yet been ruled out.
The dynamic midfielder is one of the fastest footballers around. Ben Arfa also has an elevated skill level and can be both a scorer and a playmaker. The Dortmund system favors Ben Arfa's style and may provide an opportunity to shine.
Andriy Yarmolenko - Dynamo Kyiv
The Ukraine international was linked with Dortmund, but it looked as if he was going to pass up Germany for the Barclay's Premier League. Yarmolenko has ruled out a move to England, and will be hitting the market this summer.
A high-profile midfielder, Yarmolenko is similar in nature to Andrija Zivkovic, only his experience makes him even more valuable from a right wing position. Collecting eight goals and five assists in 15 Ukrainian Premier League matches, Yarmolenko could really make an impact at Signal Iduna Park.
Yunus Malli - Mainz 05
Before managing Dortmund, Thomas Tuchel's tenure at Mainz was highlighted by the development of promising Turkey international, Yunus Malli. A reunion could be in store this summer if the price is right. Malli, who favors the BPL, can play striker and attacking midfield.
With continuously swirling rumors about the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus, Malli could be the reinforcement needed if one or both of Dortmund's stars were to leave.
Possible Summer Departures
Adrian Ramos
The Colombian forward currently finds himself outside the starting eleven, but could crack the lineup at other clubs around the world. A goal scorer with speed, Ramos could bring in a hefty price if Dortmund choose to sell him this summer.
Matthias Ginter
Ginter has been linked with big money clubs like Chelsea and Juventus. As a defensive midfielder, Dortmund would very much like to hold onto Ginter, but could keep their options open if players like Nordtveit are brought in during the summer.
Neven Subotic
The defender has been linked with a switch to Liverpool this summer to reunite with Jurgen Klopp. If Subotic were to depart, it would leave a big hole in the Dortmund backline. However, if a high price tag can be placed on Subotic, then a deal could be in place.
Uncertainties
Ilkay Gundogan
With his contract almost expired, Gundogan has expressed stubbornness in restructuring his contract and has yet to make a deal with Dortmund.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
The Armenian has enjoyed his time in Dortmund thanks to Tuchel, and is keen on staying if he can be persuaded to do so.
