With four players currently on loan from Borussia Dortmund, let's see how they are faring in their new temporary homes.
Pascal Stenzel - Freiburg
The 19-year old has recently completed a loan move to SC Freiburg until June 30, 2017. Sitting just three points behind RB Leipzig for first place in the 2. Bundesliga, the acquisition of Stenzel could help Freiburg earn automatic promotion to the German top flight for next season. Stenzel has yet to suit up for Freiburg.
Ciro Immobile - Torino
The Italian recently switched from Sevilla to his original club. While it is unlikely we will see Immobile wearing black and yellow anytime soon, he still belongs to Dortmund contractually. Torino is currently eleventh in Serie A and just eight points clear of the drop zone. Immobile will likely help Toro stave off relegation.
Since rejoining Torino, Immobile has appeared in four games for Torino this year, scoring once and attempting 11 shots, four of which have been on target. His lone goal came off a penalty early in a match against Frosinone.
Jakub Blaszczykowski - Fiorentina
Used mainly as a substitute with Fiorentina, Blaszczykowski, who returned from injury earlier this month, has logged just five minutes. Though dressed for every game, the Poland international is seldom used and has not seen a change in his stat line since returning. With two goals in ten games for Fiorentina, Blaszczykowski will return from loan on June 30 of this year.
Jannik Bandowski - 1860 Munich
The 21-year-old has still yet to suit up for the relegation-threatened 2. Bundesliga side. Last season on loan, Bandowski scored twice and attempted 11 shots, six on target. Both his goals came against clubs now in the Bundesliga, namely FC Ingolstadt 04 and SV Darmstadt 98.
