Last Week’s Record: 5-4 (1 perfect pick*)

* - Leipzig 2-1 Schalke

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Hertha BSC Berlin

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sandro Wagner - TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim - Draw 1-1

Hoffenheim is one of two unbeaten sides in the Bundesliga. While it might not change at Frankfurt, a victory seems unlikely for the visitors. This will probably be one of the more interesting matches of the weekend, indeed.

FC Bayern Munich vs. VfL Wolfsburg - Munich 2-0

Wolfsburg has struggled mightily this year, despite revamping their offense and holding a talented defensive corps. Munich has conceded a league-best nine goals this season. With home-match against a struggling offense, three points should go Bayern’s way.

FC Ingolstadt vs. RB Leipzig - Leipzig 3-0

At home, Leipzig has been tough. But on the road, they’ve been downright unstoppable. Meanwhile, Ingolstadt can’t generate offense and can’t stop anyone. In the battle of table-topper versus bottom-dweller, Leipzig shall prevail.

Hamburger SV vs. FC Augsburg - Augsburg 2-1

One of the league’s top road defenses heads to Hamburg to take on the Bundesliga’s worst offense. Hamburg has earned just two of a possible 18 points at home this season. Despite winning at Darmstadt last week, can’t see a repeat happening on Saturday. Augsburg takes the points.

SC Freiburg vs. Darmstadt 98 - Freiburg 3-2

Darmstadt has not earned a single point away from home this season. While Freiburg isn’t the best home-side either, the hosts should prevail. Especially after the way Darmstadt got man-handled last weekend at home against Hamburg.

Hertha BSC Berlin vs. Werder Bremen - Berlin 4-0

Hertha has been the league’s best home team all season. Berlin has been known to frustrate its opponents and that scenario shouldn’t change against Bremen. This one has the potential to turn into a blowout in favor of the hosts.

Borussia Monchengladbach vs. 1. FSV Mainz 05 - Gladbach 1-0

Another tough one to pick. Gladbach stumbled hard last week against Dortmund. However, the home side looks poised to rebound against Mainz. The visitors have struggled to score on the road while BMG has only conceded five times at home.

FC Schalke 04 vs. Bayer Leverkusen - Draw 2-2

Leverkusen has seen its fair share of frustration on the road this year but has looked sharp as of late. Against top teams at home, 04 has failed to earn a positive result. With Leverkusen in town, Schalke could see their home struggles return once again, but not enough to finish the weekend without a point.

1. FC Koln vs. Borussia Dortmund - Dortmund 2-1

Koln’s defense is impressive but has looked anything but spectacular over the past few matches. Despite only allowing two goals at home this year, Koln’s only bona-fide home test was a 1-1 draw against Leipzig. Dortmund may pull off the shocker at Koln.
