The Daily Bee (December 7, 2016): Reus out against Real Madrid?

And some sad news for Gladbach

It's the final day of the Champions League group stage and we'll finish it off in the best way possible, an away game against the defending champion with the group win on the line. Let's hope our boys can get a result in Madrid.

  • Marco Reus doubtful for the Real-game

In the pre-game news conference Thomas Tuchel admitted that Marco Reus might sit out Wednesdays game against Real Madrid. Apparently the Dortmunder Jung has a cold and considering the fact that winger is the deepest position on the team it is possible that Tuchel will chose Schürrle or Pulisic over Reus.

With Sahin, Subotic, Bender, Bürki, Götze, Kagawa and Guerreiro already out it looks like the injury crisis is not quite over yet. Thankfully most of the injuries are just minor though.

  • Alvaro Dominguez forced to retire

This has technically nothing to do with BVB but it is still some sad piece of Bundesliga news. The 27-year old defender from Borussia Mönchengladbach is forced into early retirement because of nagging back problems. The Spaniard had two separate back-surgeries already and sadly he won't be able to recover anymore.

Daily Buzz: With Reus possibly out for the game who would you guys play on the wings?
