Well that was a disappointing end to the Hinrunde but at least the team equalized a 51-year old record when they managed to stay undefeated at home in the entire year of 2016. Hey it's something...
- Julian Weigl extends his contract
Some great news arrived just before the game. You can everything about it here.
- Dortmund in the mix for Julian Brandt
Brandt is one of the most exciting young wingers in the Bundesliga and apparently has a release clause in his current contract with Bayer Leverkusen that will allow him to leave in the summer of 2018 for 20€ million. That would be an absolute bargain for a player with his potential, so it comes as no surprise that just about every top-team is linked to him. Dortmund is the latest addition to that list but it is hard to see where he'd fit in in Dortmund with Reus, Schürrle, Pulisic, Dembélé and Mor already on the roster. Take this one with the usual grain of salt especially now in the silly season.
- Real Madrid's transfer ban has been reduced
To the surprise of absolutely nobody the transfer ban imposed on Los Blancos has been reduced to only one transfer period. This of course means they can't buy players this January but they'll be allowed to sign new players in the much more important summer transfer window. This will obviously reignite all the Aubameyang to Madrid rumors, let's see what the future holds for PEA.
Daily Buzz: Would Brandt be a smart addition to the club even though we're already staked at the winger position with young talents?
