A very slow news-day in the world of Borussia Dortmund so let's take a look at what's going on in the football world.
- Augsburg sacked coach Dirk Schuster
In a very surprising move our last opponent before the winter break fired their coach because of "differences in the concept for the future of the club". Augsburg are currently sitting in 13th place four points clear of the relegation zone. The move comes as a big surprise from a club that is not known for making sudden moves.
- Ilkay Gündogan injured his knee
Pep Guardiola says Ilkay Gundogan "will be out for a long time" with knee injury https://t.co/cDINgX5lXi

ManCity won 2-0 in a Premier League game against Watford but they might have paid a steep price for those three points. Ilkay Gündogan who is at the heart of Pep's midfield in Manchester and who has been in very good shape as of late appears to have injured hi knee and Guardiola said after the game that he'll be "out for a long time". That sucks, the poor guy can't catch a break. Get well soon Ilkay.
- Kevin Großkreutz is a dad now

Our former winger is now the proud dad of a little girl. Leonie was born at 19:06 on the 14th December. Was it really to much to ask her to wait three more minutes?

He's also following Schürrle and Dembélé now. What do you think? An indication of things to come or a smart move by his agent to stir up some things?
