Borussia Dortmund will travel to the Portuguese Capital once again during this years competition to take on Benfica Lisbon in the round of 16.
The Portuguese team have a core of exciting young players that will make it tough to advance, however they were probably the best possible draw for Borussia Dortmund. The black and yellows will enter this round as the favorites but they shouldn't underestimate a Benfica side that is well-coached by Rui Vitoria and that has its strengths on offense.
After thirteen games played in the Portuguese Liga NOS, Benfica lead the league with 32 points, 4 points clear of Porto and 5 of Dortmund's group opponent Sporting. Konstantinos Mitroglou and Raul Jimenez lead an explosive offense assisted by the creative wingers Pizzi and Rafa Silva. If Tuchel & Co. want to advance they will have to contain those players and finally find some consistency on defense.
There are also some other exciting draws like Bayern-Arsenal (of course), Leverkusen-Atletico (sorry Bayer) and Paris-Barcelona.
