Christian Pulisic is the real deal. Dortmund fans have realized that since he made his debut last season, and now the world is noticing what the young American prodigy is doing.

While we’ve seen a lot of Pulisic on the pitch, we haven’t heard a ton from him in terms of interviews and stuff off the pitch. Thankfully for all of us, he sat down with Roger Bennett for Vice and gave an exclusive interview. Bennett, who you probably know as one of the Men In Blazers, asked Christian about his incredible rise to the Dortmund senior team as a 17-year-old and the effect it has had on his life.

The interview is really well done, and covers a wide range of topics. Christian and his parents opened up and spoke about the tough times as well as the good.

Christian was asked about how he was accepted at Dortmund, and how he gets along with players who are much older than him. But he couldn’t have painted a better picture of the BVB dressing room.

Can you believe some are still trying to link him with a move to Liverpool? Why would he leave what he has in Germany at this age? He’s settled in Dortmund now and seems quite happy to me.

The interview is 15 minutes long, but it is definitely worth the watch. Now that I’ve seen it, I feel like I know a good bit more about our young American.
