Hi everybody. Today is the first ever edition of the Daily Bee, a new ongoing series where we will try to cover all the unBEElievable (get it?) BVB-news that would be overlooked otherwise. Hopefully this will become a place where we can discuss those news as well as all other Dortmund-related or even non-Dortmund related things. Our staff is completely BEEhind this idea.
For example we could discuss ZomBEEs....or music, for example my favorite singer is Sting....
...get it?....STING...you know like a...you get it.
So let's start with what we missed so far this week.
- 14 players have been called up by their national teams for the upcoming WC-qualifiers and friendlies. It could be more but some usual shoe-ins like André Schürrle and Marco Reus aren't at 100% yet after their injuries.

Christian Pulisic (USA), Felix Passlack and Dzenis Burnic (both German U19) are missing from the list included in the tweet. In addition Roman Bürki (Switzerland) and Nuri Sahin (Turkey) had to cancel their trips to the national teams because of minor injuries, however the are not expected to miss significant time.
- Sebastian Rode had an emergency appendectomy on Monday but everything went well and he'll be ready for the Bayern-game next week. So get well soon Basti.
Blinddarm-OP gut überstanden Danke für die vielen Genesungswünsche! Hoffe, dass ich in einigen Tagen wieder mit trainieren kann. @BVB pic.twitter.com/bVY9mwTNbi

- There is a new internet-craze, the mannequin-challenge and apparently our very own black and yellows joined in on the fun.

I don't get it. I'm getting old aren't I?
Daily Buzz: So I hear you guys had a pretty important election yesterday. Happy with the result or would you rather have Christian Pulisic as your next president?
