Germophobes and general advocates of chewing gum safety, avert your eyes.
Felix Passlack chose a peculiar way to warm-up for today’s Pokal match with Union Berlin. The game’s kickoff was slightly delayed due to issues at the away fan’s entrance, so it’s understandable that the players needed to be a little creative to fill the extra time.
Passlack started the game for Thomas Tuchel at left back, but he put on the real show pre-game.
Nice control aside, the other players in the squad won’t let him live down the fact that he missed it the first time! If Felix’s Mom was watching, she’ll certainly have a word with him about hygiene as well.
But how can you possibly be mad at this face? You can’t.

Chewing gum during a game is definitely a choking hazard, but this is a hilarious goal celebration idea if Passlack finds the net anytime soon. Probably worth the yellow card.
