Anybody else worried for next season?

Hello fellow BVB supporters.

I hope I am the only one who is stressed out about next season. We've lost some of our best performers this season and might still lose Auba. Without Hummels, Gundogan, and Mkhi, we would not of had such an amazing campaign last season. I want to analyze the whole starting 11, and the possible backup players for each position.

The Goalkeeper: Burki may not have had the best season last year but I don't see any way we sell him and buy a better goalkeeper (even though we have a lot of money now). Backup is the legend Weidenfeller.

Center backs: Hummels and Sokratis was the preferred duo last year. Hummels leaving and Bender playing quite good at CB could change things. We bought Bartra, who I am uncertain is the Champions League winning quality center back that Hummels was; however, Bartra might have potential to become world-class. Sokratis played well in my opinion, but so did Bender. Its up to TT who he picks, but Sokratis will probably start over Bender. (UNLESS Sokratis with Bender is the duo).

Left back: Of course it will be Schmelzer. With his injuries he could be backed up with new signing Guerreiro (who looks really good as Portugal advance through the Euro's). This leaves last years signing Park Joo Ho with a reserve place. In my opinion selling him would be best.

Right back: Piszczek will be the starter. For backup it is tough, because Ginter had a really good stretch at Rb last year but Durm was good too. If Ginter is chosen then durm will most likely become a backup right mid. If Durm is chosen then Ginter will most likely become a back up center back.

Midfield trio: This is where I am most confused. We only have Castro, Kagawa, Leitner, and Weigl for midfield. Weigl is the only one who I see helping us consistently. He will be the holding anchor of the team. Weigl with Kagawa and Castro doesn't seem like a Champions league winning midfield. With Gundogan leaving there is a big gap. If TT plays a 4-3-3 formation then the two midfielders ahead of Weigl are crucial. The signing of Ousmane looks AMAZING, his versatility will crucial. He can play on the left, right, or in the middle, but most likely on the wing in a 4-3-3 formation. In a 4-2-3-1 he might play as the number 10. Merino has potential but is not a starter along side Weigl in the midfield. CLEARLY there needs to be some clarification on how our midfield trio will look. We need to sign a world class midfielder, and personally I hope it's Gotze. I can forgive him, I just hope everyone else can.

Left wing: Oh Captain, My Captain: MARCO REUS. He needs to be on his best form if we are to do anything next season. Loosing Mkhi, Hummels, and Gundogan, we need a leader and a world class player to lift us up in hard situations. Reus is that man. I pray that he has an injury free season! For backup I can see Guerreiro, Dembele, and Pulisic as possibilities.

Right wing: Mkhi leaving is like chopping off a leg of the team. He carried us in so many games last season and without him the future looks troubling. Schurrle is rumored to be the the new right midfielder, he didn't play that good last season, but neither did most Wolfsburg players. I would rather like Bellerabi, but that seems unlikely. With the money we've gotten this transfer window, I don't see why cant sign someone world-class, and proven in the Champions League. For backup Dembele, Durm, and the magnificent Mor are options. GOTZE???

Striker: I hope, I hope, I hope Auba stays. If Man City actually do offer the 50 mil pounds that is rumored then I dont think selling him would be the worst thing (it would still be bad). If he leaves Lukaku could be a good option. Other than that I have NO IDEA who we would sign and Lukaku is a stretch anyways. For backup Ramos is great or even MOR.

Basically we need a new midfielder for our trio, and a new right mid after Mkhi sadly leaves. Please help me understand why no one else is as stressed as I am for next season.
